Salar de Uyuni
It is possible to do longer tours of 3 days, which can end in San Pedro de Atacama in Chile, for those who want to continue their journey that way. For us though, it was back on the bus, and back to La Paz.
The salt flats at Uyuni are truely spectacular and certainly worth a visit. The photos here try to capture the beauty and scale of the place, but only a visit in person can really do this.
